Our History
BuildBuddy was born out of the real-life
experiences of our CEO and co-founder, David.
Back in 2019, David was planning a house
extension. With a tight budget and lots of
questions, he sought help from his old school
buddy, Simon, who guided him through every
step of the project.
Despite completing the project successfully,
David realized that not everyone has a “Simon” to
guide them. There had to be an easier way.

David partnered with his friend Danny, a property developer, combining David’s tech expertise with Danny’s property experience.
Together, they assembled a dedicated team of developers, house builders, architects, and
project managers, each contributing their unique insights to the platform.
